Manager/ Responsible Individual

IMG_3893 (1).jpg

Rhiannon Faulkner sefydlodd Joio, ac mae hi’n parhau i fod yn rhan annatod o redeg, datblygu a chynllunio dyfodol y feithrinfa o ddydd i ddydd.

Mae gan Rhiannon dros 20 mlynedd o brofiad ym maes gofal plant, addysg a gofalu am unigolion ag Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol (ADY). Mae hi hefyd yn athrawes gymwys, gan ddod â dealltwriaeth eang o ddatblygiad, dysgu a lles plant i’w rôl fel Cyfarwyddwr a Rheolwr.

Mae gweledigaeth Rhiannon ar gyfer Joio erioed wedi bod yn ymwneud â llawer mwy na gofal plant. Mae hi’n angerddol am greu amgylchedd lle mae plant yn teimlo’n ddiogel, yn cael eu caru a’u gwerthfawrogi, ac yn gallu bod yn nhw eu hunain, wrth gael y rhyddid i archwilio, datblygu eu hyder a dysgu ar eu cyflymder eu hunain.

Mae hi wedi datblygu Joio o amgylch y gwerthoedd sydd bwysicaf iddi, gan gynnwys meithrin calonnau a meddyliau, chwarae naturiol, perthnasoedd ystyrlon, cysylltiad â natur, datblygiad dwyieithog ac egwyddorion Hygge.

Mae’r Gymraeg, ein diwylliant a’n hunaniaeth yn arbennig o bwysig i Rhiannon ac maen nhw’n rhan ganolog o’i gweledigaeth ar gyfer Joio. Mae hi’n credu y dylai’r Gymraeg fod yn rhywbeth mae plant yn ei brofi’n naturiol bob dydd — drwy sgyrsiau, caneuon, straeon, dathliadau, perthnasoedd a bywyd bob dydd — yn hytrach na rhywbeth sy’n sefyll ar wahân i weddill eu dysgu.

Mae ei hymrwymiad i wneud y Gymraeg yn hygyrch ac yn groesawgar i bob plentyn a theulu wedi helpu i siapio dull dwyieithog Joio a’n datblygiad parhaus o’r Gymraeg drwy’r lleoliad.

Mae Rhiannon yn parhau i arwain Joio gyda chred gref bod y pethau bach yn bwysig. O’r ffordd mae plentyn yn cael ei groesawu drwy’r drws yn y bore i’r amgylchedd mae’n treulio’i ddiwrnod ynddo, mae hi’n angerddol am greu lle mae plant yn teimlo ymdeimlad gwirioneddol o berthyn.

Mae Rhian yn bresenoldeb tawel, cefnogol a chroesawgar yn y feithrinfa. Mae ganddi ddealltwriaeth gref o’r plant, y teuluoedd a’r tîm yn Joio ac mae ganddi rôl bwysig wrth gefnogi staff, cynnal safonau uchel o ymarfer a helpu i sicrhau bod y feithrinfa’n rhedeg yn esmwyth bob dydd.

Mae hi hefyd yn rhan o ddatblygiad parhaus ein darpariaeth, gan helpu i sicrhau bod ein gwerthoedd i’w gweld nid yn unig yn ein polisïau a’n hymarfer, ond ym mhrofiadau bob dydd y plant.

Gyda’i gilydd, mae Rhiannon a Rhian yn darparu arweinyddiaeth gref a chyson, gan barhau i fod yn agos at fywyd bob dydd Joio.

Rhian Passmore is Joio’s Deputy Manager and plays a hugely important role in the day-to-day running of the nursery.

Rhian has over 10 years’ experience in childcare and brings a wealth of practical knowledge, experience and understanding to her role.

Working closely alongside Rhiannon and the wider management team, Rhian helps to ensure that Joio continues to provide a safe, nurturing and high-quality environment for children, families and staff.

Rhian is a calm, supportive and approachable presence within the nursery. She has a strong understanding of the children, families and team at Joio and plays an important role in supporting staff, maintaining high standards of practice and helping the nursery run smoothly each day.

She is also closely involved in the continued development of Joio’s provision, helping to ensure that our values are reflected not only in our policies and practice, but in the everyday experiences of the children.

Together, Rhiannon and Rhian provide strong, consistent leadership while remaining closely involved in the everyday life of Joio.

Joio was founded by Rhiannon Faulkner, who remains closely involved in the day-to-day running, development and future of the nursery.

Rhiannon has over 20 years’ experience across childcare, education and care for individuals with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). She is also a qualified teacher, bringing a broad understanding of children’s development, learning and wellbeing to her role as Director and Manager.

Rhiannon’s vision for Joio has always been about much more than childcare. She is passionate about creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, valued and able to be themselves, while having the freedom to explore, develop their confidence and learn at their own pace.

She has developed Joio around the values that matter most to her, including nurturing hearts and minds, natural play, meaningful relationships, connection with nature, bilingual development and the principles of Hygge.

The Welsh language, culture and identity are particularly important to Rhiannon and are a central part of her vision for Joio. She believes that Welsh should be something children experience naturally every day — through conversations, songs, stories, celebrations, relationships and everyday life — rather than something that sits separately from the rest of their learning.

Her commitment to making Welsh accessible and welcoming to every child and family has helped shape Joio’s bilingual approach and our continued development of the Welsh language throughout the setting.

Rhiannon continues to lead Joio with a strong belief that the small things matter. From the way a child is welcomed through the door in the morning to the environment they spend their day in, she is passionate about creating a place where children feel a genuine sense of belonging.

Of course, Joio is about much more than its management team. Our staff are the people who bring Joio to life every single day.

We are incredibly proud of the team we have built — a group of caring, committed and dedicated people who each bring their own personality, experience, skills and strengths to Joio.

From our early years practitioners and room leaders to our kitchen, support and school-age teams, everyone has an important part to play. We work closely together because we believe that children benefit when the adults around them communicate well, support one another and share the same values.

Our team brings a wide range of qualifications, experience and knowledge, and we are committed to continuing professional development and learning. We encourage our staff to grow in confidence, develop new skills and share their own ideas and strengths with one another.

We also believe that looking after our team matters. A positive team culture creates a positive environment for children. We want our staff to feel valued, supported and listened to, just as we want every child and family to feel valued, supported and listened to.

Our team reflects the Joio approach: warm, caring, curious, creative and always striving to do a little better.

Most importantly, our team genuinely cares about the children in our setting. They celebrate the little achievements, comfort the difficult moments, join in with the laughter, encourage curiosity and help children grow in confidence every day.

That is what makes Joio special — the people who are here every day, creating the moments and relationships that children remember.

Our Team

Ein Tîm Ni

Wrth gwrs, mae Joio’n ymwneud â llawer mwy na’n tîm rheoli. Ein staff ni yw’r bobl sy’n dod â Joio yn fyw bob dydd.

Rydyn ni’n hynod falch o’r tîm rydyn ni wedi’i adeiladu — grŵp o bobl ofalgar, ymroddedig a chydwybodol sydd i gyd yn dod â’u personoliaeth, eu profiad, eu sgiliau a’u cryfderau eu hunain i Joio.

O’n hymarferwyr blynyddoedd cynnar ac arweinwyr ystafelloedd i’n timau cegin, cymorth ac oedran ysgol, mae gan bawb ran bwysig i’w chwarae. Rydyn ni’n gweithio’n agos gyda’n gilydd oherwydd rydyn ni’n credu bod plant yn elwa pan fo’r oedolion o’u cwmpas yn cyfathrebu’n dda, yn cefnogi ei gilydd ac yn rhannu’r un gwerthoedd.

Mae ein tîm yn dod ag ystod eang o gymwysterau, profiad a gwybodaeth, ac rydyn ni’n ymrwymo i ddatblygiad proffesiynol a dysgu parhaus. Rydyn ni’n annog ein staff i ddatblygu eu hyder, dysgu sgiliau newydd a rhannu eu syniadau a’u cryfderau eu hunain gyda’i gilydd.

Rydyn ni hefyd yn credu bod gofalu am ein tîm yn bwysig. Mae diwylliant tîm positif yn creu amgylchedd positif i blant. Rydyn ni eisiau i’n staff deimlo eu bod yn cael eu gwerthfawrogi, eu cefnogi a’u gwrando arnyn nhw, yn union fel rydyn ni eisiau i bob plentyn a theulu deimlo eu bod yn cael eu gwerthfawrogi, eu cefnogi a’u gwrando arnyn nhw.

Mae ein tîm yn adlewyrchu dull Joio: cynnes, gofalgar, chwilfrydig, creadigol ac yn ymdrechu bob amser i wneud ychydig bach yn well.

Yn bwysicaf oll, mae ein tîm yn gwirioneddol ofalu am y plant yn ein gofal. Maen nhw’n dathlu’r cyflawniadau bach, yn cysuro yn ystod yr eiliadau anodd, yn ymuno yn y chwerthin, yn annog chwilfrydedd ac yn helpu plant i ddatblygu eu hyder bob dydd.

Dyna sy’n gwneud Joio’n arbennig — y bobl sydd yma bob dydd, yn creu’r eiliadau a’r perthnasoedd y bydd plant yn eu cofio.

Meet the Team

Cwrdd â’n Tîm

At Joio, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Behind the warm, welcoming spaces, the laughter, the learning and the everyday moments that make Joio special is a team who genuinely care about the children and families we work with.

Yn Joio, ein pobl sydd wrth wraidd popeth rydyn ni’n ei wneud. Y tu ôl i’r gofodau cynnes a chroesawgar, y chwerthin, y dysgu a’r eiliadau bob dydd sy’n gwneud Joio mor arbennig mae tîm sy’n gwirioneddol ofalu am y plant a’r teuluoedd rydyn ni’n gweithio gyda nhw.
